一、學情分析
本課的教學對象是五年級學生，他們已經掌握了一定的英語詞匯，具有一定的英語學習的積極性與主動性，具備了一定的英語語言運用能力，求知欲增強。因此，在新知識傳授的同時，教師要盡可能多的為學生創造良好的語言環境，給學生充足的語言“習得”機會，讓學生在學習中積極參與、大膽發言，從而形成積極的情感態度和自主學習的能力。
二、教學目標 （一）知識目標
1、學生能夠在圖片和教師的幫助下讀懂對話，并能夠根據短文內容完成相應練習。
2、能夠按照正確的語音語調意群朗讀對話 （二）能力目標
能夠總結動詞現在分詞的結構和用法，完成相應練習。 （三）情感目標
為學生創設輕松、愉悅、和諧的英語課堂學習氛圍，使學生在學習中敢于開口說英語，并了解關于機器人的知識，從而對英語學習產生更為濃厚的興趣。
三、教學過程 Step 1 Warming-up 1、Sing a song together. Step 2 Presentation 1. Leading-in.
( 1 )課件出示關于介紹機器人的視頻。觀看視頻后，教師提
問：What can you see?. Who are the robots? 從而引出課題The world robot exhibition.并出示學習目標。
2. Text.
（1） Listen to the tape. 學生聽的同時標記陌生的單詞，教師對疑難單詞exhibition、sushi、play music進行講解，并對課文進行梳理。
（2） Listen to the tape again.學生看書聽音并完成 Task1: Listen, repeat and finish the following questions.
1 How many kinds of robots do they see? 2 Where are they from? 3 What are they doing?
（3） Listen, repeat and finish the following questions.
1 Robin is speaking English. ( ) 2 The Canadian robot is dancing. ( ) 3 Asako is making sushi. ( )
4 Robin can play music with the Spanish robot.( ) 5 Robin can do kung fu .( )
（4） Listen, repeat and fill in the blanks. 教師要求學生圈出關鍵詞作為完成練習的依據。
1、The Canadian robot is ________a picture. 2、 Asako is ________ sushi. 3、The Spanish robot is _______ music. 4、 Robin is ______ kung fu.
5、 Sarah and Robin are ______ to the Spanish robot. Step 3 Practice
（1）課件出示各種機器人的圖片，學生按照課文中的句型
對所出示的機器人進行描述。如：What is he doing? The robot is cleaning the room.
（2）星級訓練，學生根據自己的能力挑選圖片進行問答訓練。
（3）教師播放視頻展示自己喜歡的機器人，學生仿照例句描述自己喜歡的機器人，并進行展示活動。
Step 4 Summary
教師針對板書，引導學生以機器人做的事情為線索進行歸納小結。
