1. invite 動詞，意思是“邀請”。 (1) invite sb. to sp 邀請某人到某地
e.g. He invited many people to his house.
(2) invite sb. to do sth 邀請某人做某事
e.g. He invited a singer to sing for his friends. (3).invitation是名詞，當“邀請”講時，是不可數名詞，當“邀請書，請帖”講時，是可數名詞。 e.g.
an invitation to a birthday party 2. look forward to
look forward to 是一個固定搭配，表示“期待，期盼”， 其中to 是介詞，因此后面如果使用動詞，要用其-ing 形式。又如： I look forward to your reply. 我期待你的答復。
