diary, hall , show sb. around sp; in front of 
2. To get some detail information about Sunshine Middle School by reading. 
             3. To improve the skills of showing ideas in English. 
4. To learn to introduce one’s school to others. 
Teaching activities in class: Activity One   Before reading 
Step One  Enjoy a video to learn to chant. 
Step Two  Learn new words (bright, modern) with two pictures           Practice reading  “modern, modern; modern building                           Bright, bright; bright light” 
Step Three Guide students to be a quick thinker/a good listener /a careful reader/a great watcher

Step Three  Brainstorm  
         What things does your school have? / How are they? /What is your favourite place, why?/What can 
you do there?... Activity Two  While reading 
Step One   Read quickly and do T or F questions (Something about Sunshine Middle School)               1. Sunshine Middle School looks beautiful.            2. The playground is not very big. 
Practice: Try to say something about your own school.

Step Two   Read line 3-12 silently(安靜地) and choose the answer
