1.教學重點:在圖片的幫助下聽懂、讀懂、理解繪本故事,同時體會角色心情的變化。 2.教學難點:培養學生體會角色心情變化,并表演故事部分情節。
3學情分析
五 、學生情況分析
學生具備初步的運用英語進行聽、說、讀、寫的能力,他們喜歡生動有趣的方式,樂于和別人合作學習。因此本節課的設計以學生為中心,按學生身心發展規律與興趣特點設計語言活動,以激發學生的學習興趣。
六、教學準備
PPT課件、Flash動畫、故事繪本、動物頭飾等。

活動1【導入】I. Leading-in
學習的工具性和人文性。
三、教學目標
知識與技能 1.在圖片和老師的幫助下,學生能讀懂故事; 2.在老師的幫助下,學生能表演故事。
3.能聽、說、讀: sharp
情感態度 1.通過預測故事激發學生讀故事的興趣; 2.通過閱讀故事,引導學生認識到多一個朋友多一條路。
學習策略 通過完成不同的任務,培養學生學會有感情地朗讀,體會故事角色情感,嘗試表演故事部分情節。
活動2【導入】I. Leading-in
1. Let’s chant. T: I say big .S: I say small, big small, big small, T:I say short . S: I say tall, short tall, short ,tall. T:I say strong. S:I say thin. strong, thin, strong, thin T: I say sad .S: I say happy .sad, happy, sad, happy. T: Guess who is coming? Ss:A bird a tiger --- T: Now listen(播獅子的聲音文件) S: A lion , a mouse.
【設計意圖】通過課前chant,激活學生的思維,并通過談話導入今天的故事學習。
活動3【講授】Watch the Story
II. Watch the Story
1. Pre-watching
T: What do you think of the lion? S: big, strong , bad, tall. T: What do you think of the mouse? S: small, thin, short, sly.
2. Watch and predict
T: Are they good friends? Ss: No. T: Why? (師在PPT上出現三張圖片。) The teacher explains and acts. Then the teacher teaches
the phrase: be friends too small go away ouch. T: Are they good friends? Let’s go on watching. T:Look ,the lion is trapped. Who
can help him? (播到獅子被網住時停。 ) S1: The cat grips the net. S2: The tiger pulls down the net. S3: The bear has sharp teeth.
He can cut the net. T: Let’s watch. Who can help the lion? Now you know the mouse helps the lion. Are they good friends?
Ss: Yes. T: Why?(師在PPT上出現兩張圖片。) The teacher explains and acts.
【設計意圖】通過預測故事,激活和提供必要的背景知識,激發學生的閱讀興趣和動機。整體感知,保證了故事的完整性。
III.Post–watching
1 Teach the phrases.
They are good friends. What happens to the lion? Look, the lion is trapped. Who helps him? But how? Teach “sharp”. sharp teeth”. The mouse is happy. You should read like this.
【設計意圖】培養學生學會有感情地朗讀,體會故事角色情感。
2 Imitate the story. What happens to them? Let’s watch again and imitate it. The mouse is very scared. Please read like this. Ask some students to imitate the sentences. They can go to find their good friends to practice and work in pairs. Then act it out..
【設計意圖】文本很長,學生自由組合選一幅圖進行表演,降低難度,符合學生的認知水平并緊扣主題。讓學生自選好友,自選圖片進行表演,給學生自主權利,激發學生的表演興趣和學習主動性。
IV. Summary
1.Today ,we learned a story. Its name is---. Retell the story with the help of the key words together. The lion looks down upon others. But the mouse helps the lion. So Where there is a friend, there is a way. 2 The mouse is small, but he can help the lion. What do you want to say to the mouse? S1: You are smart. S2: You are helpful. S3: You are brave. What do you want to say to the mouse? S1: Lion, don’t look down upon others. S2: Everyone is helpful.
【設計意圖】讓學生猜題目,培養學生閱讀能力。借助板書,在老師的幫助下復述故事。通過這個故事的學習,引導學生說學生用心感受老鼠雖小,卻樂于助人的品質。同時滲透德育教育。
V. Extension.
The lion is saved. He is happy. One day, he met other small animals. What are they talking?Maybe he met an ant/a cat/ a hen.
Please work in groups of four. Make dialogue and write down on the card. Then ask them to act it out. Stick the cards on the blackboard.
【設計意圖】讓學生發揮想象力猜測獅子在被救之后,如何對待其它的小動物。學生把已學的知識運用對話中,引導學生創造性地使用語言。
活動4【作業】Homework
1. Retell the story.
2. Try to write an end of the story.
【設計意圖】有梯度的作業布置,尊重了學生的個性差異。續寫故事為學生發揮想象力搭建了平臺,既培養學生的思維,又激發學生的學習興趣。
