一、 教材與教學內容分析
人教版Go for it!新版教材按照“話題--結構--功能--任務”的模式,采用分層結構和循環遞進的方式來安排教學內容,倡導任務型教學,突出“以學生為本”“以能力為主”的理念,引領學生通過參與、探究和合作等方式,學會用英語與他人交流,表達自己的思想,提高綜合語言運用能力。此外,教材把語言知識和語言技能、情感態度、學習策略等有機結合起來,注重學生的全面發展。
本課教學內容為人教版Go for it!新版教材九年級Unit12中Section B有關愚人節的閱讀板塊,該語篇是一篇敘述性文章,講述了四個與開玩笑有關的故事,前三個均發生在愚人節,第四個故事與人愚人節沒有關系,但卻是聞名于世的著名惡作劇之一。通過本單元前面幾個課時的學習,學生已經有了一個開放的心態來談論生活中或者愚人節時出現的出人意料的玩笑或者鬧劇。同時,通過優秀的學生對于自己的有趣或者搞笑的生活經歷進行過分享,學生們從情感上已經能夠理解愚人節的玩笑,學會用娛樂的精神來面對這些玩笑和鬧劇。這一切為本課時 April Fool's Day的學習墊定了良好的情感和背景基礎。 二、學情分析
本班學生整體英語基礎較好,學習動機明確,習慣于在小組活動中互相幫助,積極與他人合作,敢于用英語進行表達。本課時內容與學生的生活和興趣緊密相連,學生在探究過程中不會感到枯燥乏味,因此有利于發揮學生的學習主動性。教師應當使用恰當的閱讀策略,引導學生從背景入手,通過讀前討論,讀中思考,讀后分享,進行有效的閱讀、思維及表達訓練。 三、教學目標
1. 學生能夠通過閱讀文本,了解愚人節的故事,并能夠運用其中的結構和語言簡單復述故事。
2. 學生能夠運用略讀、跳讀、細讀策略,學會尋找主題句,概括大意以及理解文章細節信息。
3. 學生能基于閱讀文本開展讀后故事分享活動。
4.學生通過對批判性思維的理解,學會辨析和汲取西方文化中的精華,初步培養跨文化意識。 四、教學過程 Ⅰ. Warming- up

2. Ask Ss : How can you get the right answer so quickly? Remind Ss the reading strategy: Carefully reading the first sentence in each paragraph can activate your own knowledge of the topic and help you guess what the whole text is about. Careful Reading
