I. Material analysis 
本節(jié)課是第五單元話題三的第三課時，主要活動是1a，2和3。通過預測Hu Bin的有關信息，判斷句子的真假，然后閱讀文章驗證預測，訓練學生讀前預測的能力。還將通過閱讀有關Hu Bin的學校生活，然后寫一封信來展示自己的校園生活本課的閱讀活動，教師應引導學生結合教學圖片、判斷句子對錯等活動進行讀前猜測，以便幫助學生掃除后面閱讀活動的障礙，同時也使得學生的閱讀更有目的性。 II. Teaching aims 1.Knowledge Objective 
Learn new words :study, outdoor, activity, 
    能夠在閱讀活動與寫作匯報中，用一般現(xiàn)在時描述校園生活；     能夠就“校園生活”等話題進行交流與信息輸出，如：    2.Ability Objective 
能聽懂有關學校課程安排的敘述； 
能夠讀懂有關介紹校園生活的文章并根據(jù)要求進行學習活動； 能正確書寫與本話題有關的校園生活的短文。 3:Moral Objective: 
能通過談論校園生活，增進同學之間的了解，培養(yǎng)學生對校園生活的熱愛之情； 
III. The key points and difficult points    1.在閱讀技巧方面需要掌握的方法 
   2.就“校園生活”等話題進行交流與信息輸出。 IV. Learning strategies 
2.能逐步養(yǎng)成對內容進行預測的閱讀習慣；

VI. Teaching procedures Step1: 
Learn new words:study outdoor ,activity 
What are they doing?They are studying politics,geography. What kind of activities do you have? Step2:Pre-reading 
 Look at the pictures and describe what they are doing? Listen to the tapes and put then in order 
Making predictions before reading helps you read more effectively. Step3: 
Read 1a and match the topic sentence(中心句)with each paragraph.         Skimming helps you get main idea of the article Step4: 
Read and circle True or False. 
you can find the answers by asking for questions Step5: 
Reading aloud will help improve your pronunciation and fluency. Step6: 
1: Make up 3 or 5 questions about Hu Bin's school life Step7: 
 1b. Read and fill in the blanks Step8:post-reading 
Retell the passage 3and4 with the key words: Step8: 
Do you have a happy school life or unhappy school life?why or why not? Talk about your school life

   在本課中，學生學習了寫信。在這個環(huán)節(jié)中，學生對回信有了一定的基礎；但是，由于詞匯積累不夠，語法運用不夠熟練，因此用英語來進行海報設計和新聞編寫對初一的學生來說還是有一定的難度。我們教師可引導學生在課外閱讀中，多記一些美句
