Learn the passage and learn how to talk about their school life.
學情 分析
Students in my class are interested in English. Some of them are excellent but most of them are in the middle. This passage is not very difficult for them to understand. But it’s very long so it’s not easy for them to retell the passage. It is also a little difficult for them to talk about their school life. 教學 準備

教 學 過 程
Step 1: Warming up
T and Ss greet each other. Step 2: Leading in
1. Teacher tells students the new teacher, Mr. Zhu, will give a short speech today.
2. Mr. Zhu greets students and gives a short speech about the school.
In this part, a student acts as a teacher. Students will be interested in English class.
After the speech, Mr. Zhu asks some questions and asks students to answer the questions:
What subject do you study at school? What do you often do after class?
In this part, students review some words about subjects and some outdoor activities.
3. Mr. Zhu shows some pictures about his friend, Hu Bin. And then he asks, “What does he do after class?” Ss answer the questions according to the pictures.
In this step, students review more outdoor activities and prepare for understanding the passage.

Step 3: In-put
1. T thanks Mr. Zhu and tells Ss Hu Bin also makes a short speech. T asks Ss to listen to the speech carefully and then fill in the blanks in 1b and then check the answers.
Hu Bin is a student of Class 1, Grade 7. His school life is very _________. Classes _______ at 8:00 a.m. He _______ Chinese, English, politics and some other subjects. He ______ English best. But he ________ _____ math very much. He ______ it’s a little difficult and boring. After school, he often _____ basketball with his classmates. It’s his favorite outdoor activity.
Ss have previewed the passage, so it’s not very hard for them to fill in the blanks.
2. Ss read the passage in 1a in groups and then try to find The main phrases in groups.
In this part, Ss can read together and share phrases together.
3. T shows some key phrases on the PPT and let Ss take some notes.
4. Read the passage in groups and each group asks two questions about 1a. Ss ask questions and students from other groups answer the questions.
5. Watch a short video about the passage and try to follow the computer to practice their pronunciation and intonation. Step 4 : Out-put and practice
1. Retell the passage in groups with the key words: a. kind, interesting
b. classes begin, study, favourite, difficult and boring, c. after school, play basketball, in the swimming pool, draw pictures, school library
d. Do you think...? Can ...tell me...?
2. T shows some pictures about students’ school life, and then asks Ss to give a speech about their school life.
3.Do some translation exercises. Step 5 : Summary
T leads Ss to review what they have learned today. Step 6: Homework
1. Review Section C finish the students’ book.
2. Write a letter to Hu Bin to tell him about your school life. Step 7: Emotional education
T encourages Ss to get along well with their classmates, study hard and enjoy their school life.

3、學生專注度高,配合度好,學生合作學習有序,口語訓練到位。 4、閱讀課每個教學環節扎實有效,小組互相問問題環節設置比較好。 5、課堂導入由學生的演講開始,并讓學生來提問學生引入新課,有所創新。 改進建議:
1、老師的表情動作還可以更加夸張一些,那樣學生表現會更加熱烈。 2、在訓練學生更加大膽發言方面還可以想更多辦法。
3、英語比較弱的學生聽英文指令還有點困難,回答問題面還是沒有達到全部,作文環節學生不夠大膽,可以設置一個玩起來活躍氣氛的活動。
