This material is from PEP Go for it Unit9 My favorite subject is science. The topic of this unit is school subjects. Students have learned some subjects and adjectives in Section A. The main goal of this class is to review them and learn how to write a schedule. And let students know the importance of schedules. Ⅱ. Analysis of the Students
The teaching objects of this class is the students from Class 14, Grade 7. 1. Students have a keen interest in learning English and strong desires for knowledge. 2. Most of the students are active in class.
3. Because of poor oral English or lack of confidence, some students aren’t brave enough to express or share personal ideas in public classes. Ⅲ. Analysis of Teaching Goals 1. Knowledge and skill:
(1)To learn some new words and review some words they learned before:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, subject, science, math, geography, favorite, why, because, difficult, interesting
(2)To enable students to talk about preferences,reasons and time with the following expressions:
-What’s your favorite subject? - My favorite subject is … - Why do you like... - Because … - When is it? - It’s on...
(3)To guide students to learn how to write a good schedule. 2. Process and method:
(1)To help students write down the answers quickly while listening. (2)To cultivate students’ independent thinking abilities.

(3)To develop students’ cooperative learning ability through activities. 3. Emotional attitude and values:
In our study, we need schedules, we should work hard, we also should keep studying. After that, we can be a better man. Ⅳ. Key and Difficult Points

1. 本節課的設計體現了任務型教學的特點,同時整個任務鏈的設計均以學生的興趣為主。
2. 教師根據學生實際,由易至難,逐層遞進,逐步完成各個任務,使每一位學生都參與到活動中,都有所提高。
3. 注重了聽前預測方法的指導,同時能夠注重自主學習和合作學習相結合,充分發揮學生的學習能動性。
4. 由于學生的認知水平不同,學生個體存在差異,課堂小組活動設計對于部分學生可能較難,可以根據實際教學的需要刪減或降低難度。
