【課前復習】
I. Show some pictures of the students themselves and ask them what they are doing in the pictures.
(設計意圖:展示學生們自己的照片,激發孩子的興趣,同時復習現在進行時 be + v.ing ,引導孩子們自己總結動詞變ing形式的規律)

【課內探究】
Step 1 Lead-in (Activity 1 ) 1. Warming-up
Ask the students “Do you like festivals ?What kind of festivals do you like,

western or Chinese? What do people do on festivals? Talk about your favourite festival?” and then show Chinese official holidays and let students describe them.
(設計意圖:以學生喜歡的節日為話題導入新課,為學生創造輕松愉快的學習氣氛.本活動呈開發性,使學生有很大程度的自由度,便于激發學生參與的積極性,有利于激活背景知識詞匯。回答問題的同學給小組加10分)
2.Talk about how we are getting ready for Spring Festival according to the pictures.

Step 2 Listening and speaking (Activities 2, 3and 4)
1. listen and answer:
How many people are talking in the dialogue and who they are? How many people are there in Lingling’s family?
(設計意圖:讓學生對對話中的人物和對話內容有一個初步的認識,為接下來的聽力活動奠定基礎。)
2. Listen and choose.

3.Speaking and writing:Play the video, have the students read after it. Then ask the students read by themselves and come to write the answers .
(設計意圖:本活動是進行聽力和口語訓練。訓練學生在聽力過程中的細節辨認能力,培養學生聽力技巧。并通過對聽力信息的再處理,培養學生語言輸出的能力)
4.Complete the passage.
(設計意圖:讓學生進一步理解對話內容,掌握本節課語法內容,考察學生對動詞現在分詞的掌握情況。)
5Act and guess
每組選出兩個同學,一個同學根據所選紅包上顯示的短語做相應動作,另一個同學問全班同學:Is he/she „?全班同學回答 Yes,he/she is 或者 No,he/she isn’t。每答對一個小組加十分。每組一分鐘時間。
(設計意圖:讓學生在游戲中會說現在進行時的一般疑問句并回答,同時鞏固了本節課的重點短語,一舉兩得)
6. Homework
Search for information about Christmas Day and find out how people are getting ready for it.
