一、教學目標: 1. 語言知識目標:
1) 繼續練習運用訂餐用語或叫外賣等的用語。 2) 根據所提供的材料能運用所學的知識來補全對話。 3) 總結復習訂餐時所用句型結構,從而能為餐廳打廣告。 2. 情感態度價值觀目標:
體會學習英語的樂趣,做到“在用中學”“在學中用”。了解世界各地的飲食文化,生日文化等事情,使學生們具有初步的世界文化觀念。 二、教學重難點 1. 教學重點:
1) 通過進行聽、說的訓練,來提高學生們綜合運用所學知識的能力。 2) 通過讀、寫的訓練,來讓學生們能真正在實際活動中運用所學的知識。 2. 教學難點
通過聽說復習使學生會做廣告。
教學過程
Ⅰ. Warming- up and revision
Review the words and sentences about ordering foods in this unit .
T: Hello,everyone. Today we’ll continue to learn this unit. Now let’s review the words. What kinds of meat do we learn?
S: Fish, chicken ,mutton and beef.
T: What vegetables do we learn?We can talk about them from small to big. S: Potatoes,tomatoes... Ⅱ. Presentation
1)Review the sentences the waiter and the customer can say. T:If you are a waiter, what can you say? S:May i take your order?...
T:if you are a customer, how to order food? S: I’d like some... 2) Make a conversation.
Now make a conversation with your partner between a waiter and a customer. 3) Enjoy jokes
While eating in the restaurant, you may have trouble.Maybe there is a fly in your soup.What will you say?Now let’s enjoy some jokes. III. Making an advertisement
Your foreign teacher John wants to say something to you.Let’s watch a video.
1. Make sure the Ss know what to do.
(Imagine you have a special restaurant, write the foods and prices.)
2. Ss work by themselves and try to write the foods and prices.
3. 指導:可先列出食物名稱,然后,再寫出價格。最后,再用英語寫出來。 e.g. burgers: 3$ soup: 1$
We have nice burgers for three dollars. The soup is only one dollar.
4. Let some Ss read out their sentences. IV. Writing
1. Write an ad for you restaurant. These sentences structures may help you. 2. Let Ss read the sentences first, and try to remember them. 3. Let Ss make a list of the food and drinks in your restaurant. 4. Use the sentences structures and write the ad.
5. Let some Ss read out their ad. Show some good ad on the big screen as a model. V. Self Check 1
1. Make sure Ss know what to do.
Put the words you learned in different groups. 2. Check the answers. VI. Self Check 2
1. Tell Ss they'll read some interesting jokes. Read the jokes below and fill in the blanks with "there be" structure.
2. 指導:這里是考查there be句型中的主謂一致原則及近主語原則的知識。 3. Ss read the jokes and fill in the blanks. 4. Check the answers with the Ss. 5. Let Ss act out the joke for fun. Ⅶ. Homework
1. Review the new words and phrases of this unit. 2. Write a short ad for your uncle's noodle restaurant.
