讓學(xué)生明白事物是在不斷發(fā)展、變化的道理,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生積極向上的心態(tài)。 二、教學(xué)重難點(diǎn) 1. 教學(xué)重點(diǎn):
1) 掌握本部分出現(xiàn)的生詞和詞組,達(dá)到熟練運(yùn)用的目標(biāo)。
2) 閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)的信息。通過閱讀練習(xí),來提高閱讀能力。 2. 教學(xué)難點(diǎn):
1) 閱讀短文,獲得相關(guān)的信息的能力。 2) 理解并運(yùn)用所學(xué)的詞匯及表達(dá)方式。 三、教學(xué)過程 Ⅰ. Revision
Review the words that the teacher taught yesterday. Use used to and now to describe the followings pictures.
For example: I used to sleep in class, but now I listen carefully in class. Ⅱ. Lead in
Enjoy a song named Changes and then ask students to tell me about their changes during the past years. And let students know that everything changes and people sure change.
Show some pictures about the teacher’s and tell the students what the teacher’s changes. Ⅲ.Warming up

1. Who’s beautiful and outgoing girl? She’s the famous singer Candy Wang.
2. Can you guess what she was like? Yeah, she used to be very shy. 3. Do you want to know her story?
She took up singing to deal with her shyness.
As she got better, she was not shy anymore and loved singing in front of crows. Now she’s the Asian pop star. Ⅳ. Reading Fast reading
Tell Ss to read the article and identify the paragraphs in which the following information appears. Number the information [1-3]. ____ how Candy’s life has changed ____ Candy’s advice to young people ____ Candy’s background
Ss read the article quickly and try to number the information.
