教學目標
1、知識與能力目標:
1)能夠聽、說、讀、寫單詞或詞組:swim, speak English, cook, play basketball, play ping-pong;
2)能夠在語境中正確運用五個單詞或詞組詢問某人是否具備某種技能并作答;
3)能夠綜合運用本單元句型和核心詞匯描述自己會和不會的事情。
2、情感態度、學習策略與文化意識目標:
1)能夠進一步了解有中國特色的文娛活動形式;
2)能夠樂于表達并和他人分享各自會和不會的事情。
2學情分析
本單元學習的主題是文娛活動,話題生動有趣、貼近生活,符合五年級學生的生活經驗和認知特點。本課為Part B Let's learn,學生通過A部分的學習,已經能夠在情景中運用句型What can you do? I can …以及部分表示文娛活動的詞匯詢問他人會做的事情并作答。在此基礎上,通過B部分對話課的學習,學生已經能夠初步理解并運用句型Can you …? Yes, I can. /No, I can’t.詢問他人能否做某事并作答。因此,本課增加了更多的同一話題相關的新詞匯,讓學生能夠運用這些詞匯和句型完整地表達自己能做和不能做的事情。
3重點難點
教學重點:
五個表示課余文體活動單詞或詞組的意義理解、認讀、拼寫和運用。
教學難點:
1、部分單詞或詞組的認讀和拼寫,如:ping-pong, basketball等;
2、綜合運用本單元句型和核心詞匯描述自己會和不會的事情。

活動1【導入】Part B Let`s learn(本單元第五課時)
Greetings:
T: Nice too meet you, boys and girls. I’m your new English teacher today. And you can see my name on the screen. Can you read? Yes, my name’s Nancy. And I hope we can have a good time today. Now, let’s begin our class. Good morning, boys and girls.
活動2【導入】Guessing
1) PPT presents some pictures.
2) Guess what teacher can do by using the sentence pattern: Can you …?
3) Teacher makes a conclusion about things he/she can do or not.
活動3【講授】Learn ”swim”
1) Learn to sing a song.
T: You know I can sing songs, right? And I can sing English songs. Listen. “Can you sing, can you sing? Yes, I can.” Can you sing a little bit? Listen. “Can you draw, can you draw? Yes, I can.” Can you try? Yes, you can sing! Can you? Good! You can sing, too. Now, try to sing more. Listen. “Can you swim, can you swim? No, I can’t.” Who can try this time? Excellent! Let’s sing together. Wonderful! You are all good listeners!
2) Listen repeat.
T: Now, listen again. What can you hear? (播放降調:swim) Good! You got it! Swim! Can you repeat? Yes, you got it, too. This time, listen again. (播放升調:swim) Who can repeat? Good job!
3) Ask and answer: Can you swim?
活動4【講授】Learn “play basketball”
1) Listen and repeat.
T: So, you can/can’t swim. What about basketball? (做動作:play basketball)Can you play basketball? Listen. (播放升降調:play basketball) Can you repeat? (做放降調手勢:play basketball)
2) Ask and answer: Can you play basketball?
T: Can you play basketball? Can you swim? Oh, you can swim. You can play basketball, too. What about you?
活動5【講授】Learn “play ping-pong”
1) Listen and repeat.
T: Wow, so many students can play basketball. You’re good at sports. Now, let’s listen carefully. It’s a kind of sports, too. (播放升降調:play ping-pong) Can you repeat?
2) Choose and say.
T: Good! Now, look! I have some pictures. Which one is for “play ping-pong”? Can you pick it out? Is he/she right? Good job! Boy/Girl, can you repeat again? Wonderful! Now, hold this picture. Let’s read after him/her.
活動6【活動】Can you play sports
1) Say the pictures.
T: Boys and girls. We know picture, right? Now, can you say something about other pictures? Who can have a try?
2) Ask and answer:
T: Good! You know all these pictures. This time, do you want to know whether Nancy can do these sports or not? Who can ask me?(指板書:Can you …?) No, I can’t. / Yes, I can. I can play ping-pong/basketball, too.
3) Work in pairs and make a dialogue:
-Can you …?

-Yes, I can. I can …, too.
活動7【講授】Learn “speak English”
1) Learn “speak English”
T: Wow! You did a good job! Big hands for ourselves! And I think your English is really good. Everybody here can speak English well. Listen. (播放升降調:speak English) Can you try this time? Can you speak English? Can you speak Chinese? (指板書:Yes, I can. I can ..., too.)
2) Say the picture and other people.
T: Now, look, can this boy speak English? (出示板書圖片:speak English)Yes, he can speak English. What about your English teacher? Can she speak English? Can your Chinese teacher speak English? Can your father speak English? What about your mother? Can she speak English?

1) Listen and repeat.
T: Can your mother play basketball? Can she play ping-pong? Can she swim? Can she cook? Cook rice, noodles, and vegetables? Listen. (播放升降調:cook) Can you repeat?
