Teaching process
Step1 Warming-up (about 2 minutes)
Sing the English song
The letter sounds song.
Step2 Presentation (Vowel) (about 10minutes)
T: Let’s welcome to our model team.(Ss take their phonetic cards to show the class one by one,and then the class read together.)
T:Today we’ll learn two vowels /əu/ and /au/ .(Read after teacher and read by themselves,then choose some Ss to read sentences)
Step3 Presentation (1a) (about 10minutes)
T: Look at blackboard,and what’s this?
Ss: This is a family tree.
T:Yes, this is my friend’s family tree.Today I will introduce you a new friend.Her name is Jenny.(put Jenny on the family tree) Do you want to know Jenny’s family?
Ss:Yes.
T:Ok,look at this picture. Who is he?
Ss:He is Jenny’s grandpa.
......
Then let Ss read these new words together. At last, choose two Ss write down these new words on the blackboard and others write down their notebook,then check the answer.
Step4 Listening 1b,1c (about 5 minutes)
1.Listen to the recording and check the words Ss hear.
2.Listen again and choose which picture are Jiang Tao and Tom talking about.
T:Look at two pictures,and what are the differences between them? How many people in picture one and how many in picture two?
Ss:Picture one has eight persons ,and picture two has 4 persons
Listen and check the answers.
Step3 Listen and repeat (about 6 minutes)
1.Let Ss read listening materials after the tape one sentence by sentence twice.(pay attention to the rising tone and falling tone)
2.Let Ss read by themselves and choose 3 pairs to read.
3.Let Ss read together and role-play read.
Step4 Group work (about 6 minutes)
T:Draw a picture of your family and friends. Tell your partner about your picture. You can use these sentences to introduce your family.
Hello,I’m... These are my family and friends. These are my... This is my...
Let 3 Ss introduce their family and friends to the class.Then choose who the best is.
Step5 Summary (about 3 minutes)
Ask students to sum up the members of the family.
Step9 Homework (about 1 minute)
Draw a picture of your friends. Tell your parents about your picture.

教學反思
本節課在教學中注意利用圖片和教師的動作,從感官上刺激學生,能很快地抓住學生的注意力,再通過學生小組表演,給學生充分表現自己的機會,充分體現學生在教學中的主體地位。音標卡片模特秀一方面鞏固了所學知識,另一方面活躍了課堂氣氛,讓學生很快進入課堂學習中。
多媒體輔助教學可以提高課堂教學容量,調動學生多個感官對知識的感知,實現信息傳遞的多渠道化,但要注意呈現的速度,做到張馳結合。
本節課各教學環節之間聯系比較緊密,但時間分配上稍微有點前松后緊,因此教師應該注意根據學生的課堂反應把握教學節奏。
