教學目標
1. 能完成“Let’s try”部分聽錄音選選項的練習。
2. 能聽懂、會說、書寫句子“What size are your shoes? Sze …” “How heavy are you? I’m … kilograms.”并能在實際情景中準確運用。
2學情分析
六年級學生既帶有少年的天真又時常表現出青年的成熟。 隨著知識的積累和對事物體驗的深化,六年級學生內心世界比較豐富。除了注意事物外表的形式之外,更注意對事物的分析和主觀體會,對很多問題都可以做出自己的回答。記憶力增強,使大腦中存儲的信息迅速增加,孩子可以進行比較復雜地推理和運算。
本課時是本單元的第四課時了,孩子們對身高、體重等的英語表達已有了一定的了解。因此,本課重在通過一些有趣的活動,希望能激發孩子們的學習興趣。
3重點難點
1. 詢問、回答有關身高、體重、腳的大小尺寸等問題,并能書寫相關句型。
2. 能聽懂、會說、書寫句子“What size are your shoes? Sze …” “How heavy are you? I’m … kilograms.”并能在實際情景中準確運用。

活動1【導入】六年級下冊 Unit 1 B How tall are you
一、Warm-up
1. Free talk
2. Sing a song “My small cat”
3. Review the words of last period.
4. Play a game
Guess the things in my box, and then try to compare their size or weight.

二、Presentation
1. Let’s talk
(1) Show the photo of Miss Li and then ask:
T: How tall is Miss Li , can you guess?
S1: 165cm.
S2: 166cm.…
(2) Ask the students by the sentence How tall are you?
(3) Show the photo of Yao Ming to compare their height.
T: Look! Who is he?
Ss: Yao Ming.
T: Yes! He is Yao Ming. He is much taller than me. Do you know? How tall is he?
Let’s ask him how tall are you? OK?
Ss: OK!
T and Ss: Yao Ming, how tall are you?
(4) Show the sentences I am 226cm on screen.
(5) Ask the students to practice the sentences How heavy are you?
(6) Show the shoes of Yao Ming and to learn the sentence What size are your shoes?
(7) Ask the students to guess and compare the size of Yao Ming and Miss Li.
(8) Ask the students to practice the sentences What size are your shoes?
(9) Show the pictures of Wu Yifan and Mike and ask about their size of shoes.
(10) Listen and try to answer the question above.
(11) Listen again and then try to find the weight of Wu Yifan and Mike.
(12) Game: Ice Broken.
(13) Listen and read again by paying attentions to the red points on screen.
(14) Read the dialogue following the teacher.
(15) Ask the students to read the dialogue with their partners.
2. Let’s try.
(1) Ask the students to listen the dialogue with some questions.
(2) Ask some students to answer the questions.
