2、開展模仿拼讀活動和各種游戲活動，使學生能夠掌握單詞。 3、引導學生懂得動物是人類的朋友，我們要熱愛他們。 [教學重點]
The new words: alpaca, peacock, peahen. [教學難點]
單詞alpaca的發音以及可數名詞有復數形式。 [教學準備]
1、教學用具：tape、pictures.
2、課前任務：Let the students say:What animals do they like? [教學過程] 一、 導入：
1.Let’s watch TV.
2.Answer:What animals can you see? Where can you see them? Which animal do you like? 二、探究過程：
1.The teacher asks students to guess which animal she likes .
Learn the word: alpaca ,alpacas.
2.Describe the alpaca. It’s a new animal in the zoo. Its mouth is big. Its legs are short. Its tail is short. Do you like alpacas?
3.Ask students to describe the alpaca. 三、隨堂驗收：（或隨堂練習） 1.根據描述猜動物。
2. 選詞填空，考察學生的閱讀理解能力及對本節課知識的掌握情況。 四、課堂小結：
Animals are our friends. We should love them. 【布置作業】
Make a book about an animal you like. 【板書設計】

本節課是三年級英語第二模塊第四單元第一課時的教學內容， 由于教材中的內容相對于我們班級的學生來說有些淺顯，知識內容 不夠豐富， 所以我進行了文本再構， 在復習書上列出的六種關于動物的單詞的基礎上，加入了單詞:alpaca, peacock ,peahen的學習。
這樣就加大了語言的輸入量 ， 確保了班級中的優等生可以學到更多的知識。
本節課以談論自己喜愛的動物為主線，在此過程中學習單詞及語句，保證了在語境中學習語言。
