知識目標
1. 能夠正確聽、說、認讀單詞和短語,如holiday,game,roll, look for, chocolate, bunny, RSVP, by 等。
2. 能正確使用一般將來時進行寫作和交流。 能力目標
1. 能在圖片的幫助下讀懂邀請函,完成讀后判斷句子正誤的活動。
2. 能熟練運用一般將來時,并在實際生活中進行溝通和交流,闡述和書寫自己的計劃安排。
3. 能掌握基本的閱讀策略,積極大膽地嘗試寫作。 情感目標
能養成善于規劃生活的好習慣,培養西方文化意識。
教學重點:
1. 能夠聽懂、讀懂并內化Read and write 的內容,掌握基本的閱讀策略。 2. 能夠在實際語境中學會運用將來時“will”的表達方式。 3. 能夠大膽嘗試寫一篇邀請函,培養基礎英文寫作能力。
教學難點:
能夠提高閱讀技巧,掌握基本閱讀策略,并進行大膽思考和嘗試英文寫作。
教學過程: Step 1 Pre-reading
1. Greetings and free talk.
T: Good morning, boys and girls. Nice to meet you.
T: What’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s sunny and hot. T: Yeah, it’s summer now. Do you like summer? Why?
(設計意圖:日常自由對話,貼近學生生活實際,使學生快速進入英語學習的情境中。)
2. Enjoy a song-The twelve months.
T: Now let’s enjoy a song together.
T: So what’s this song about?How many months are there in a year? What are they? Ss: It’s about months. Twelve. January, February…
(設計意圖:通過歌曲在活躍課堂氣氛的同時,復習了關于12個月份詞的舊知。)
3. Show and say
呈現節日的有關圖片,學生猜出什么節日,說說該節日的相關信息。
T:We know there are 12 months in a year. I will show you some pictures. Guess what are the pictures about? 多媒體呈現有關兒童節的圖片,學生猜出節日名。 Ss: Children’s Day.
T: What do you know about Children’s Day? Do you know when is it? Where do the people celebrate it? What do you usually eat on Children’s Day? What do you usually do on Children’s Day? 利用思維導圖,引導學生從四個方面說說有關兒童節的知識: 所在月份(when),慶祝地區(where),吃些什么(what to eat), 做些什么(what to do)。在介紹過程中學習新詞holiday, game.
同樣方式呈現有關端午節的圖片,學生猜出節日名,利用思維導圖從四個方面說說端午節相關知識。
(設計意圖:符合本課時有關節日的主題,利用思維導圖引導學生思考問題。)
Step 2 While-reading
Task 1Read quickly
T: Today I got an invitation from a friend. Please watch it quickly and answer my two questions. Question 1: What’s this invitation about? Who write this invitation? Ss: It’s about the Easter party. T: How do you know that?
Ss: We can know it from the title.
T: Question 2 :Who write this invitation? Ss: Robin
T: How do you know that?
Ss: We can know from the bottom of the invitation, the email address. ( 解釋RSVP, by的含義) 板書title, the email address
Task 2 Read again
T: Boys and girls, if you want to go to theEaster party,what questions do you have? What do you want to know?(鼓勵引導學生從when, where, why, what四個維度提出問題:When is the Easter party? Why do they have a party? Where is the party held? What will they do at the party?等)You can get the answers from Robin’s invitation. Now let’s open your books and turn to page 29. Try to find the key words and circle them. I will give you 10 seconds.(學生圈出關鍵詞:when,why, where,what 板書在黑板上。)
T: Now let’s answer the four questions:
1. When is the Easter party? 回答:It’s on April 12th, 7 p.m.
2. Why do they have an Easter party? 回答:Because they have an Easter holiday. 3. Where is the party held? 回答:It’s at Wu Yifan’s home.
4. What will you do at the party? 回答:We will play many games. We will roll Easter eggs. We will look for eggs. We will eat chocolate eggs. You will meet the Easter bunny.(借助邀請函上彩蛋和小兔子的圖片,介紹復活節兩個重要標志,學習bunny。借助圖片幫助學生理解roll Easter eggs, look for eggs, eat chocolate eggs的含義。)
Task 3 Read and tick or cross
完成判讀對錯的練習。
T: Now let’s do the exercise. Read and tick or cross. Check the answers.
Task 4Watch a video and know more about the Easter.

Task 7 Know the structure of an invitation
板書一篇邀請函要寫明的四大要素。
(設計意圖:通過不同程度的任務完成整個閱讀,不僅要讀懂課文內容,而且要學會閱讀技巧,所以在第一個任務時就要讓學生找出關鍵詞,在由淺入深地進行泛讀和細讀,挖掘其中的重要信息。整個任務的設計以學生為主體,讓學生自己先思考再找出答案并完成相關練習。)

Task 8Write an invitation
T:Now let’s write an invitation to invite more friends to our China’s traditional festivals. We know the Dragon Boat Festival.What other traditional festivals do you know? (引導學生說出春節,中秋節,元宵節等。)
T: What do you know about these festivals? (從四個維度先請學生說一說)
T: I will give you an example. Now choose one from the four festivals and write an invitation. Pay attention to the structure. (老師先作示范書寫一篇邀請函,然后讓學生選擇一個傳統節日書寫一封邀請函,多媒體提供參考詞匯。) 學生展示邀請函
(設計意圖:書寫關于中國傳統節日邀請函的設置,符合學生生活的實際情景,幫助學生熟悉邀請函的書寫格式和基本要求,同時培養學生的文化意識。給學生展示的機會和平臺,讓學生體驗學英語的快樂,樹立學習的自信心。)
